I've had two players who were to be released but on a team sign new contracts. In both case they were left as being the only players on the team.

Anyone else have surprising contract situations happen during season end?

Oh, and I've raised a ticket with support already.

They had no contract and were supposed to be released. Contract ending Season 49 day 40.
