There are 9 Regional Pro leagues. In the 3 elite leagues there are 24 teams with mostly full human rosters, 6 in elite 1, 10 in elite 2 and 8 in elite 3, in the other 6 regional pro leagues there are 11 more teams that have mostly full human rosters. So out of 108 teams in regional pro there are really only 35 teams that can even hope to compete. Can tptb just move those 35 teams into the 3 elite leagues and make 3 decent regional pro leagues and shift the cpu rosters to the other 6 leagues?

It doesn't seem like it would be that much work to go through the leagues and check for these things after team movement.

my team fielded a non competitive team last season and made the playoffs since there were so many other non competitive even worse teams. now its in regional pro elite with 99% cpu players. unfortunately putting in the necessary work to sort the leagues based on how competitive teams can actually be is something that will never be completed.

Easy trophies are what increases participation at this site. This has already been proven. When the elite/comp/reg set-up was added people left in droves. People didn't want competition. They wanted winnable leagues.

I can't remember if it was last season or the one before, but I wanted to move up to a more competitive league and was denied by the mods. I had human owners with 100% CPU agree to switch leagues. And was still denied and told if a team goes CPU I could get moved.

At first I was upset because I thought the other owner is cool with it, it's something I want and it will make the game more enjoyable for other owners in the league, so why not do it. Then I remembered the game is out of beta and working as intended. And then I realized how foolish I must sound and sent flowers to Bort.

Yeah you are probably correct. When the age restricted leagues came into effect and we lost alot of people I had always assumed its just becuase so many free loaders did not want to pay and thus left. But all those who had older players of similar level that beat up on younger dots no longer had their advantage and didn't want to work for the win.

A lot of people that have left were casuals that just wanted to dick around and win some games. As with most online games, the diehards usually win out and the userbase dries up.

I signed 4-5 players just before the playoffs last season and won the conference. so we got put into elite #1 with only 1 player. it shouldnt be that hard to weed out teams w/o human players. lets face it, with the dried up player pool these days, if you dont have a pretty set roster by day 47, then you arent going to compete.

if you want competition then buy a team in a more competitive league then trade all your players to the new team.
