It was a generalization of what a lot of people were doing. Even the best teams had quite a difficult time getting their entire team lvl 64 equipment because it was insanely expensive. I owned a team and recruited just fine until I got bored with owning around season 13 and sold my team and didn't buy another team until season 29.

I would spend hours a day on this site. I couldnt keep good dots on my team because I didnt have the money to pay for all the players equipment. ..We still did good in the playoffs tho; the good ol days of GLB.

Forums were a lot more active... I'm in a bunch of team and private forums. Most are just dead or only have one or two posts in the last week! The dots were more interesting cause you didnt know what worked or how to build them. Just when you thiught you did Bort would monkey with it and everyone bitched... But it kept everyone active.

I have more money in my pocket and less time wasted though! 😊

The trades were fun IMO find a owner that was folding .. make a deal to trade his best players,,,

most people hated it.. I had a blast...
