In my heyday I was involved from season 6-29 on GLB1. Had a period of time where I owned a teams worth of dots. Since Bort is awesome enough to let a man's 100k+ flex points chill for years was wondering which would be better getting back into? First glance seems that the menus are cleaner on GLB1 and its easier to get around but which is the better game? Also are there enough of you active cats out there for it to be worth coming back to?

If you build for a well known or trustable owner then GLB1 is the way. GLB2's graphics are different so fi you like that then go to GLB2. GLB1 is still the classic, and many who played in the past still prefer the classic rather than the deuce.

Yeah thats been my first take on it so far. Is the simulation the same on both? Seems the character creation is "different" but similar. Can't seem to find equipment for your players on GLB2. So if you can't then what is salary for?

Nope simulation is different. SI runs differently too.I don't think there is EQ on GLB2 and i'm pretty sure salary is for morale bunus or something, which matters a lot more than the salary morale on the classic.

GBL 2 gives eye strain ,Some changes on Gbl since but also started back with bank of Bort,had numerous players to retire.

GLB3 is bound to come out any day. I hear it looks like John Elway's Quarterback.

GLB2 unfortunately is a trainwreck, I so looked forward to it... figured GLB1 was doomed... cause who wouldnt want the new and improved version....

that certainly didn't pan out, GLB2 is a horrible mess and can't believe anyone is still over there....
