at the current rate I enjoy building dots, putting them on CPU teams and seeing them play.
I've done the owning, coordinating and building etc....

Not sure if I will invest more time and money if those in charge don't care about the game more than I do.

What do you want to. See GLB do to make you be more involved and spend more money?

Oh yah and stop irritating people on GLB Classic in an effort to get rid of them and close up shop for good.
That is all

I've posted this before but, like Bluesman says, I've given up on anyone in charge doing anything at all to GLB1.
#1, shorten the build cycle. Right now it simply takes far too long to get a dot from start to finished product and it always has been this way. WG's stubborn refusal to even consider a myriad of suggestions to this effect shows their mindset as far as what THEY think of this game. To them, they built it from the start thinking if they got 5 years out of it, great. There's never ever been any sort of 'long term goals'. If you could truly read their minds, you'd know they're surprised and thrilled it's lasted this long. Why? Because it was never their intent to have this happen. Now, they almost kinda wish it would go away so they could more seriously pursue other projects, GLB1 takes up servers they'd love to use elsewhere so they wouldn't have to buy more.
#2, shake it up every season... or every other season... or every year... or some kind of cycle such as that. By this I mean vary the playbooks available... or boost certain aspects of the game IN SMALL AMOUNTS (nothing stupid... just little things). Say for 2 seasons, all passing offense get's a 5% bonus. That means, for 2 seasons, you'll find your passing game more successful (as long as you are a good builder and a good OC). The maybe boost the rushing defense by 5% for 2 seasons... again... still gotta build quality and put in quality gameplans otherwise you'll still get beat. It doesn't have to be crazy... but just stuff that CHALLENGES both dot builders and Coaches. What we have now is completely stale and static. All WG's hard work to make the 'mysteries of the game' is dying very fast as those with any math ability are figuring out how to build PERFECTLY SYMETRICAL dots... clones... cookie-cutter builds... and coordinators are getting to where they simply plug and play their systems and most of them look alike. Soon, they'll all be the same plays (offense and defense) in every book and the inputs will be all the same as well.
#3, And the part that spells doom to this entire thread... WG MUST re-think it's attitude about GLB. They have a game that could last for MANY MANY years to come if they just really wanted it to. There are solutions that are not all that hard to make happen... suggestions that would enhance the joy of every user and make the game more fun and, face it, more fun would sell this game alone. It's already a fun game... why not make it even more so?

Sad truth is, WG sees GLB as just another 'throw-away' internet game with no future. You'll see some mod post here about how that's not true... how, if they didn't care they wouldn't be doing all they have been... or that they would've shut it down already if they thought that. Well... actions speak the truths that people do not. And, what I've seen is a minimalist approach to the remains of GLB and it's players. Sometimes I wish this game had never left Beta... at least then, they cared more than they do now and the game was a challenge to figure out every season for everyone which many griped about but, truth be told, everyone misses.

Getting rid of decline might help retain pro level players. Bort could even burn flex. Charging 3 boosts per season to delay decline...

More and improved stats. Coaching stats. To be able to control which stats appear on my players' main page.

I'd like sacks to be taken out of team passing yards in the game summary instead of rushing yards, which makes 0 sense.

evolve into a more dynamic game with more attributes that are more position centered! Salaries that do more than morale! Injuries! I would also like to see more options for the owner and co-owner in stadium operations! Go back to allowing trades for cash! Custom drawn plays for the play-book, including the flea flicker! referees, getting knocked down, and cheerleaders!
