This league will be what we make it. Personally I think everyone has more fun playing dotball when we are in the league forum talking about dotball. If people are to participate and talk about things including talking about rankings I'm down. If peeps don't, I am ok being silent for the next 48 days until I can get my team out of this place.

Imo, if owners themselves post and encourage their players to post this can be a fun active season. Fuck bort, we control our own destiny. Anyone else down?

If this isn't a ghost town I plan to do pre-season rankings, or maybe even send out a poll and ask each owner to do pre-season rankings (with optional comments) then bring them together into 1 thread showing all comments and average rankings.

I think it's going to be much more interesting, and lends itself more to some talking, rankings, etc

With 16 teams per conference, it was easy to get lost in the shuffle and overlooked, and who can really keep track of that many teams? Now, you're really paying close attention to only 5 teams, and maybe a couple of teams from the other conference who you need to keep an eye on.

I like it from a couple of standpoints. Of course the obvious one is competition is a great thing and will help keep everyone engaged but from a dot building standpoint I think this is beneficial. Alot of times you can have 3 or 4 cpu teams mixed in and during those 4 games your dot rushes for 1200 yards. Having these balanced teams really gives you a better idea of how your dots stack up with other great builds. Really it can only help you with future builds.

Thanks for starting the threads Wise - should be a lot more fun during the lolregular season with the new format.

The problem with Wise starting threads is that he then feels obligated to post in them.

You're just mad we are an offensive team with horrible defense.

TJC owner of some canada team in the hospital with complications to hip surgery would be great. Expected to be released June 4 or 5. He asked me to pass this info forward for whatever reason.
