The OP brings up a valid point--tons of builds (and the mechanisms that tons of people use to assist with those builds) are based upon a 40 day season, 8 day offseason, and 9 day preseason. That totals 57 days on a regular cycle.

Whatever changes are made shouldn't screw with this--it could be the straw that broke the camel's back, particularly for builds-in-progress.

It gives you something to figure out if it has changed ....

First they want Change, Then they don't want change..

The want change as long as it does not affect THEIR player builds.

Other peoples builds (like the silent majority that is here)

If they're keeping days 39 and 40 then it would be nice to either have an all-star game coded for d40 or else allow free scrimmages for those days. NGTH, I know.

Having a roster freeze with nothing to do for 3 days after all league champ games are done on day 37 is asinine!

would have been neat for each league to have an allstar game that concluded after the champ game and consisted of the players considered the best at their position from each conference. coordinators could be made up from random draw of coordinators indicated from top 4 teams of each conference.

players would get a all star game badge similar to league trophy. users would have a badge showing number of all stars similar to mvps...

interleague championship game.... 4 pro leagues gold winners face off. In WL just have a rematch of the championship game with the same AI's to see who gets simfucked a second time

Why in the world would you think there would be a random roster freeze for 3 days? That would be really lame.

I was planning on just having a bye week at the end of the season before playoffs start during which all the tournaments would have their final game. I could reset free scrim points at that point too, I suppose, if people would actually use them. I guess more teams will be involved in the playoffs now, so it'd maybe be more useful to more people?

Alternatively, we could have a bye week on like week 8 or something so people could scrim or grab a breather at the halfway point.

Extending the season to start on day 3 would just make the already long pre-season period even longer...nah.
