In this pure hypothetical of course; Team 1 is a strong 13-2 team playing a solid 7-8 team. If team 1 beats team 2, then a 3rd team 3 at 7-8 (going to be 8-8) who already lost to team 1 earlier in the season goes to the playoffs. Furthermore if team 1 scores even a field goal, team 3 will win points allowed tiebreakers and go to the playoffs. If and only if team 1 loses while being shut-out does team 2 make the playoffs over team 3.
Team 1 proceeds to replace his AI's for week 16 only with bort premade AI's, knowing full well it will make his team play MUCH worse. Team 1 loses to team 2 by a score of 0-66, getting shut out for the first time this season.
So, should there be any penalty to team 1 for this?
