Would it be fair to say I really wasn't expecting that?
We are outdone. Thanks Makntak. I was pretty surprised myself. You guys have a hell of a team, and had a great season. I'm sure we'll meet again down the road.
Aaaand since I have a few minutes tonight to breath, lets take a look at the . . .
Semi Pro Elite #1 Championship Game:
Johannesburg Jackals @ Seven Cities ThundercatsThe T-Cats roll into this game on fire, with a 19-0 record on the season. In fact, counting ALL games played this season, they're rocking an impressive 24-2 record. Advantage T-Cats right?
(In my best Lee Corso voice)
Not so fast my friends! The T-Cats only 2 losses this season both came against the Jackals. One in a lolpreseason game, and the other in the semi-final tournament game. However. . .
In two games against the Jackals last season the T-Cats won by a combined score of 48-9, and allowed a total of 205 yards from scrimmage. That being said. . .
This seasons Jackals offense isn't like last seasons. They lead the entire league in yards from scrimmage despite playing in the tougher conference. They put up over 350 yards on the ground against Annapolis in the semi-final game. On the other hand. . .
The Jackals haven't faced a run defense as dominant as the T-Cats. They allowed just 534 total rushing yards this season. They were 2nd only too. . .
The Jackals, who allowed just 470. Nonetheless. . .
The T-Cats own a 4-3 all time record vs. the Jackals (regular season, playoffs, and tournament).
So, I'm sure its obvious to everyone, who the winner will be. . .
Good luck T-Cats!
