This game was doomed the second they left anything in charge to this clown Cornhole. I wouldn't let him manage my son's lemonade stand, much less my business.

Many of us feel this way as well!

Hmmm, seems to me that "user friendly" = dumbed down version...

Yes, you need to market THIS game much differently than you would GLB2 or Brawlers as this game is more complex, but that's ok, right? What you need is one Seahawks player or coach to play the game... and like it... and then you get an endorsement from them. You want to target the hard core nerd sports gamers who are fiercely loyal to a game that offers such variance and long time frame... not something they can play in 15 minutes.

Realistically, aside from the server (cloud) cost, which is probably already ammoritized out, or at least bundled with all other WG games, the programming should have paid for itself after the first five years and admin costs are nada now, so there's no reason NOT to reinvest into a proven product. There's a reason that many have stayed...

That's interesting, I was not aware that NFL players are in the habit of publicly endorsing products for free.

Exactly. Cornblade's #1 response. "In case you haven't heard, GLB 2.0 blah blah blah." It's just an asshole response. We know that game is over there. We don't give a damn because it's a dumbed down carbon copy of this one.

Having tried twice to get into that game, I can tell you it's really not a carbon copy. It appears that they decided the "football" aspect of the game was the weakest part of GLB1, so they got rid of footbally things like statistics and standings (and seasons and teams and championships and playoffs and league leaders), or at least hid them really really well, and decided to focus on the fantasy character-building that don't appeal to the football fanbase.

We can kick and scream and try to point out the obvious, but the fact is they don't understand football fans and never will, and that's why the untapped market sits out there, still untapped.

That's funny (I don't mean that sarcastically), when we "debate" these things with you guys I think we also feel like we're pointing out the obvious.
