Supposedly he was out of flex and refused to buy more while banned, so he needed to retire a player but you can't release players on d40 for some reason.

One time I let contracts expire cuz I forgot to send in new ones. I had a great plan for the upcoming season and when I went to check how many roster spots I needed to fill I found my roster with like 5 dots.
