So for 1.5 seasons now... my offensive AI continues to call plays that are NOT in the AI and are not even in the playbook. 4 WR HB dive w/ the speed backs... Again this play was taken out of the playbook and is not anywhere in my AI yet it is called all the time on 1st down, putting my team in 2nd and long consistently. Now I see a new run popping up in there that is ALSO not in the playbook... Singleback HB dive w/ the speedbacks...

It's been going on with me for a couple of seasons as well. I go back and check my OAI and inputs/outputs are all messed up. Weird symbols and shit replace the numbers and some outputs just completely disappear. I've even taken screenshots and sent them to support to no avail.

Its really pissing me off. Its fucking up my whole AI. Constantly running up the middle with a speed back and no lead blockers...
Setting up 2nd and long every time when I could probably get 5 yards or more every 1st down play call with the power runs.

Calling stupid passes with shitty checkdowns that end up getting sacked left and right... not in the AI... taken out of the playbook, yet it still some how is magically being called.

Seriously... wtf

I've been playing 47 seasons and this has never happened to me. Give me AI access and I'll find out why that play is being called.

Every time I've had a weird AI issue the culprit has always been something I entered or did not enter in one of the inputs/outputs. I had one where I was convinced there was a bug after digging through the AI for an hour, but I eventually found that one of the settings inside the input, down distance, was off from the next package by 0.5 yard and was causing the occasional erratic play.

Good luck, hope you get it fixed. These AIs are not user friendly.

I agree, if some good with OAI is willing to look like RC26, it couldn't hurt to give him access for review. I'm good at finding glitches in DAI work but have never worked with the offense so not as helpful there.

If the play is not in the playbook, theres no way it can be called right? lol...

I can give access. Let me get a comprehensive list/links of the plays that should not have been called so ya know what you're looking at.

Even if its not in your playbook, if somehow the game situation is not covered in the ai, I think the cpu uses a random play

Yeah it links to a play it wants if the input does not exist. Could be you have something set at 5yrds and the next one is set at 5yrds. Split them one at 5 and one at 5.5 might be it maybe

Think you meant one at 5 and other at 6.... that would leave a gap at 5.5 and not have a play set.......but if you're saying it's first down...my guess would be more in lines with where the LOS is and whether you're missing an area of the field causing the random calls.......as in one input being Gl to the 20, and next being maybe between the 21s.... but that means if the play snaps from the 20.5 ydline.... you wouldnt have an input for it.

This is my experience as well.
GL finding the glitch or resolving the problem.

I have it Own 15 to Opp 20 , then a redzone and greenzone package.

There is like no reason whatsoever that this 4 WR dive should be called. Its not in the playbook, its not in my AI fields when tested, or any of the packages. And its not randomly calling plays, its calling a specific one more often than not. Bizarre.

Will be working on this all night trying to find a resolution, but running out of scrimmage time to test!
