Ah, yes. Gotcha. My bad. Yeah, it's been a good laugh and lots of suggestions about 'fixing it' have been posted but GLB has shown nothing but deaf ears on this one. On the one hand, I understand their desire to keep the (percentage) number of' 'uber pieces' that appear everytime you refresh. But my take has always been that you can keep the percentages the same but not have the stupidest pieces show up... (Like +3 throwing and +SA make catch for an O-lineman ). I suspect the reason they've never fixed it is simply laziness. I mean, the good pieces will come to the patient person so you just learn to ignore the stupid stuff. So they probably think it's simply not worth the effort to recode.

In keeping with the trend of her career so far, she's made at least one tackle every season so far and hasn't missed a tackle yet. Punters rarely get tackle attempts in general for 2 main reasons. #1, a quality set up ST plan usually tackles the returner long before the punter becomes involved. The other reason is that most people build punters that are so slow they're completely unable to close the gap to MAKE a tackle. This punter is NOT one of these types and, on this play, I am SO glad I built her this way.

If she doesn't make the tackle, it's a TD. 'n my punter!

Also, I'm thinking of requesting the ST coach to have her play on ALL (defensive) ST units, including kickoffs, to save some stamina for other dots. Just a thought for now. She needs more stamina yet to do that.

Well, she missed two tackles finally. Both led to return TD's. It steels my resolve to have her be more involved in the tackling aspect of the game. That she missed two tackles simply means her build needs finishing so those become made tackles instead. I still am happy that she even ATTEMPTED two tackles in a single game. Most punters only get a missed tackle when the returner races past as they fall down because they have no chance of making the tackle anyways (at the higher levels). So Get your returns in now because, soon, she will be the punter you fear.

At a bit lower lvl I saw the punter seem to stand there,or think too long on a KR the punter was first to meet the CB coming up the pathway but didn't execute ,Had set WU so maybe just didn't get quite close enough.

Although it's been stated otherwise elsewhere, I personally have seen where a dot with decent speed but hardly any agility seems slow to get started so I believe agility DOES effect the reaction time's of dots. Vision is also important as well because the dot must SEE the play in order to make a proper decision (as seen when a dot takes a poor angle of attack to make a tackle or a offensive dot seems to miss the 'hole' and hit another dot instead). Speed is basically responsible for acceleration and 'top speed', but a very low agility strips away that acceleration be slowing down a dot when it attempts to go anywhere but in a straight line. All this combined is why you see most punters (with low speed and agility and vision) just seem to 'stand there' and watch instead of charging towards the runner.

if play on kick returns, ST'er VA works (won't work when playing Punter on punts though)

I used to put mine at IN3 with good results

I forgot what the frog called the team but that punter does have higher speed than agility ,Vision is about 2X so not the missing link.
I also saw on a few DB doing same chalk up to early builds I suppose.

And with that thought might make a reason to start 3x training sooner

Seen a few similar builds for punters over the years, but none of them ever make a significant number of tackles.

Yours has 4 in the regular season and 1 in the playoffs throughout it's career, and is unlikely to get any more.

Possible... possible. But it's been one helluva fun build. Once my stamina gets up there, I'm gonna see of the ST coach will put her in on kickoffs as well. Not only to save a regular dot from ST duty but, I think the combination of strength, speed, agility, and tackling (once completed)... along with the AEQ... will make for a quality ST player.
