I am an old school WoW player, so there was always heavy equations over there. But they consistently changed things, so it was min/maxing at the highest levels through gearing and theorycraft simulations. Elitist Jerks
I am for opening up the equations, but only if they are going to actively tweak or upgrade advanced gear in some way. Most perennial WL teams seem to have a handle on what works overall as it is. And a lot of the build guides I've seen are pretty similar, so theorycraft is already present here.
Do I have an idea of what the best build is? Not really. I can say I am most interested the in relative strength of effects in the coding when combining VAs, SAs, and base attributes.
So when it comes to summer break, do I put my time into dot building and learning to build a proper tagging D on a new GLB team? Or should I just start a new sexy Night Elf Druid over in WoW? Both are pipedreams...
