Last I heard was more or less what I sent you, that it will be the League and Conference champs, then it would go by playoff wins, playoff games played, then regular season record, points allowed, etc. if needed.

If that changes, or if it ends up being something completely different, I'd expect to see an official announcement.

When we were discussing tiebreakers, etc. Bort was thinking it would go by Conference champs > playoff wins > record. Not sure if that's how he ended up setting it up, I'll ask.

I'm not sure what part of my PM was that remarkable, but 'kudos' for blowing the lid off this major scandal.

But seriously, again, I'd say anyone confused about WL tiebreaker specifics should look for an Announcement. My guess is, that'll be closer to the end of the season (when it matters). My general recommendation for now would be, when your team plays games, try to win them. I'm no master tactician, but I believe that's a good place to start!

Isn't the point to go as far into the playoffs as possible? I'm not sure how a new league structure would change that at all.

Well thats easy. 5 and 6. Regular season matters now scrubs!

It should be the two WL title game participants followed by the next four best regular season records in each conference. That gives you a combination of meaningful playoff drama and retaining the best teams as determined by the larger sample of the regular season. The possibility of a 16-0 or 15-1 #1 seed going down to pro because they get upset in the first round of the playoffs is not something to embrace.

Bye Bye VPB next season. 38 day season. loss of TP, VXP, XP ,etc, etc, etc Players will end at level 79 some time earlier< VA amounts will change and if any cares to team finances matter or salary cap, its all going to get pro rated too?

Agreed. Makes perfect sense to give both the regular season and the playoffs meaning.
