Mike was awesome. I remember when he suddenly went inactive, and for him that was crazy because he was so active. Helped a lot of people on here grasp the game and build better, myself included, and was helping me and other agents start up a new team. Then I heard what happened, it was so sad. We lost one of the best GLBers. I can only imagine how great it must have been to know him in RL. I'm glad his accomplishments live on and help many, he truly left a positive mark on this world.

Mike was my mentor, we were together since Season 1 on the monarchs, he OC'd/DC'd my Mozambique Starvin Marvins team and helped me win my first gold as a team owner. Him and I had lots of chats, even offline.
I had no idea he passed away, I was so afraid of that but didn't want to believe it.

Damn, did he really pass away???
Wow... I knew he mentored many new upcoming DCs back in the old days.. . Especially after how much people like Mike Rogers did for this game, it just sickens me to see the game ( guys like Mike enjoyed playing and prolly would have continued playing if not thw unfortunate circumstance) dying a slow and painfully way...

Thanks for posting, had wondered what happened. Mike was a great guy and left the world a better place than he found it.
I remember him from back in the day.
Didn't know he passed.
Sounds like he was an even better person irl than in GLB.
RIP.
