To survive you need to either join a network (any worthwhile aren't looking for more teams honestly with the dotball shortages at-is) or start making farm teams every 3-5 seasons to fill the majority of your free agency needs.

.

lol. i put together a competitive roster every season and im not in a network.

no need for farm team's if youre an active poster on this site. i also owe a lot of favours now but i mean, thats the only way i can find a home for my own dots so whatever.

I think we are on different pages as far as what a "competitive roster" means my friend. I'm not impressed by the ability to make the playoffs in natty pro...

As someone who's had a top level team since season 2 with no resets, I think my harbinger of doom recruiting message should at least hold a little weight.

Demote to rookie next season..start a thread early looking for rookie dots..much easier then trying to recruit for a Pro Team.

Post more.

I only signed up with Dub J because he is a celebrity.

My brother (super smash brother) retired his dot and asked me who he should go far. I referred him to Dub J pretty quick. Yea, the game's dead, but at least he'll have fun with Dub.

hes a funny guy and always see him posting too. Once i retire one of my amazing dots, if he's still around I'll give him a shot

I really appreciate everyone's efforts to help, some of you have given me useful tips, like recruiting dots from CPU teams.. we'll see how that goes. Others, I know you are trying to help but telling me how I need to build credibility or work on people skills is funny since I've been here for 6 years and have previously filled my roster and had competitive teams. I've made friends, but their dots grow up and they move on. Yes, I can demote my team but I've still got a pro-lvl player atm. When he retires, I probably will start over at rookie league.

Someone said I need to "make things fun" but I don't understand how to do this as team owner. I can't seem to find many players who care to even post in the team forum. And yes, WiSeIVIaN, I realize my team is fucked, that's why I am posting this.

Dub J seems to be confident with his strategy, but all I am hearing is how I need to post more in the forums and become notorious for my ballsy condescending arrogance. Is that what it takes? I need to be a big mouth in the forums and people will come play for me? In any event, if any of you see my name now, you'll remember I was the cat in the forums bitching about my recruiting woes and you'll come give me a hand. ... not a hand job... (unless you've got lots of dots and you like being my little subordinate bitch.)

Not to be a dick, but I've never heard of you. Reason I mention that is you say you've been here 6 years but you might as well have been here 6 minutes as far as FAs are concerned. No one has ever heard of you so all a FA can go buy is a asst OC silver you picked up a few seasons back. People are going to sign with someone they recognize or know before they sign with you. With the decline in the userbase that leaves you in the cold since you seem to be stuck in 2008.

If you are wanting this to be like season 5 where people would PM you begging to sign their dots then you're shit out of luck. Either make yourself more visible and your team more marketable or quit bitching about recruiting. GLB is not going to bend to your desires.

All I'm reading from your posts is you want to sit on your ass and put zero effort into anything. You become snarky and angry at the people trying to help you. My suggestion to you is just be an agent. Don't be an owner since you are obviously clueless how to build a roster, keep anyone remotely interested in your team forum, or make your presence known. After reading your posts in this thread it's obvious you would be an absolute shit owner.

Okay, things I've seen the op do right:

- Started a thread.

Things I've seen op do wrong:

- Putting his own dot ahead of the welfare of his team. This led him to refuse to demote to rookie.

- No sign of any ad in the TLFP forum.

- No forum sig promoting his team.

- Expecting agents to make his team forum more enjoyable. I may not be an elite anything in-game but when it comes to running forums/posting in forums you should listen when I "speak". 95% of the stuff you post in your team forum should have nothing to do with this game. Only way to get people to look at the important team shit is give them a reason to look at your team forum.

- Talking back to Dub J.
