Was on the news tonight that the balls were found to be under-inflated. I really don't get this at all. WHY? Why on earth even TRY to cheat to win? I absolutely HATE that Bilichick is tied, yet again, to another cheating scandal. The stupid f*ck is supposed to be ex-Navy for crying out loud. If he's NOT guilty then why doesn't he get f*kin pissed at those around him that are screwing his sh*t all around. I sure as HELL wouldn't just sit there and say nothing. If he IS cheating, I could not hate a team and 'their system' any more than I do them. I use to be fairly apathetic about the Pats. Even felt sorry for them back in the 'loser' years. Now I hope they fine the holy crap out of them, take away ALL of their draft picks for the next 2 years, and threaten to asterisk their superbowl wins is they ever get caught cheating again. Enough if e-f*kin-nuff.

except that the teams dont use the same balls... but still not sure how that would make a difference, maybe better grip for a wet day.Better grip, easier to catch, less likely to fumble. But... also, harder to kick long FG's. The whole reason the rule was put in place was because, on long, FG's, Punts, and some kickoffs, OVER-inflated balls were finding their way onto the field to make them go farther. I think one time someone even tried to inflate one with helium.

A pound or two of air pressure in the ball may or may not make a difference in throwing or catching, idk, but it certainly doesn't win one on one match ups, block or tackle anyone, or control or the line of scrimmage, so what's the beef? I'm NOT a Pats fan, but I do respect their system, and if they are ahead of every other team in the way they prepare - "cheating" or not - then so be it. I agree that, as long as it doesn't break the EXISTING rules, you SHOULD look for an edge. But cheating is simply wrong. Period. The rules are there to make sure the playing field is as level as it can be. And what makes this even MORE stupid than ANYTHING is that the Pats DID NOT NEED TO CHEAT to win. Their planing and preparation and execution was MORE than enough to beat the Colts. THEY DID NOT NEED TO CHEAT. And they still did. Nothing, in my mind, could be more stupid than this. Nothing. Not even Justin Beeber.
