So... The way I've always looked at the Clutch VA is that it's not worth it unless you're planning on investing 12-15 points in it because I assumed that the likelihood of activating the bonuses on 3rd/4th downs essentially changed by a net +5% for each point, starting at 5% chance for the first point in it (sort of the same way Redzone Freak is a "chance" VA).
Put another way, and carrying this a step further, would it be correct to assume that 12 points would create a total of 60% chance of activating a bonus while 15 would bring a total of 75% chance?
Or... alternatively... would it act more like a +Force Fumble % AEQ piece, where it just increases the base rate that already pre-exists the piece (since of course people can cause fumbles without having an AEQ piece in it)?
Do some of the bonuses have better initial base starting odds than others? Are these bonuses to attributes or to SAs odds and effectiveness?
