This season I want to do something a little different; something additional to what I’ve done in the past that is, and it involves everyone willing to be involved. This season I’m going to do Preseason Predictions , sort of like “Pick-Em” weeks, but the idea is to Predict the finishing record for EVERY team in the league (or at least ever team that isn’t CPU-Filled).
Two Rules:
1) Don’t be a homer, it’s okay to say you think your team might actually lose a game or two.
2) If you pick for one team, you have to pick for them all (again at least all the non-cpu filled teams), that includes your own team.
No, this isn’t limited to team owners, anyone who wants to give it a go, absolutely may do so. If you choose not to, we understand, as long as you understand you’ll forever be thought of as a coward
Weekly Pick-Em
You don’t have to pick to the exactness of your Final Record Predictions; obviously there’ll be times where we’ve made a prediction and then realize, man…they’re better than we thought or man do they suck. Well, in the Weekly Pick-Em, you can pick whomever you want.
Rules
1) You must post the entire game Matchup, who you’re picking and you they’re playing (indicate home and away team) and predict the final score.
2) Once you post it, you can’t edit it or your prediction won’t count.
At the end of the season I’ll tally up all the scores and name a “champion”.
How you’re scored:
1 Point for each correct prediction W/L ; 2 Points if the total actual score is within 7 Points (1 score) either way (this is a combined total, so hypothetically if you predict 24-21 and the game ends 20-18; you still get the 2 points) 5 Points for predicting the exact score)
Essentially each game prediction is worth a potential 6 Points.
Each Final Record Prediction that you get correct is worth 5 Points.
