Oceania Conference
Unless WSR finds a way to win 2 of the next 3 games, there is a real possibility that they will not see the playoffs; this week they play Whatever, which is a game they more than likely have no shot at all whatsoever to win.
BCBC has the easiest remaining schedule of any team in Oceania, they are currently on the outside looking in but if they can find a way to win the next 3 games, they would hold head to head tie breakers over 3 of the 4 teams that would potentially keep them out (Sumatra, WSR, & NR; would not hold tie breaker over Asmara).
Sumatra’s only hope for the playoffs is to win 2 of the next 3 games as well, where they play RN, Whatever, and DIG. They hold a couple of tie breakers but they need some wins for that to matter, it doesn’t look promising.
DIG has virtually secured a playoff spot. With tie breakers over WSR, NR, & the possibility to get one over Sumatra, there is basically no one near the bottom that could eliminate them from playoff contention at this point.
Asmara has a few tie breakers but they need some help to maintain their playoff status; in fact, the only team they do not hold a tie breaker over that is fighting to stay alive is WSR, they have a guaranteed win this week against Amsterdam and a likely win over KC. The only remaining question is Sumatra, if they win all 3, they’re in, if they lose to Sumatra, it could play a major role in the #8 playoff spot.
Newfoundland is basically out of playoff contention; with losses to WSR, DIG, & Asmara, and only having beaten Sumatra; they are not strong in the tie breaker department. They need some major help to have a shot at getting in, along with winning the next 3 games.
The Top 5 might change seeding but they’re in, that’s not going to change.
