Bier Market (10-0 -- 1st in East) vs Diablo Dots (8-2 -- 4th in East)
Well well well, here we go, 2 of the JUGGERNAUTS of Casual Pro since well....ever! As if the game itself wasnt already good enough you throw in the venom that exists between Badger and Venger, say what you will, whomever side you're on you cant argue that the both of them are masters of their casual domain. Together these 2 teams hold 21.4% of League Golds all time with Diablo pulling down 7 and Bier 2, but what have you done for me lately.....over the last 6 seasons Bier holds the 2 to 1 advantage. With such a massive target on his back Venge always has something to prove regardless if he may own the most dominant casual franchise of all time. I'm not so sure why everybody thinks he's a big meanie, i mean he's giving everybody that walks through the door for this showdown a FREE MINI HELMET, sounds like a stand up guy to me.....Enough talk, the matchups to watch for the game...
Diablo's Rushing Offense vs Bier's Rushing Defense - This right here could be the story of the game; Diablo is rushing for a 459.1 ypg clip, which would be first in the conference if you omit the all rushing West Morgan Rebels. Led by Jeremy McCloud who is the epitome of a "feature back", he has an impressive 4,094.5 yards on the season already. On the other side you have the Bier rushing defense who leads the ENTIRE DAMN LEAGUE with a paltry 54.7 ypg allowed. That's crazy talk my friends. Either way, this matchup should be what decides the game, but hey, I'm not stopping there!
Bier's QB Dexter Palmer Jr. vs Diablo Passing Defense - Dexter {I frealking love that show} is having a great season boasting a rather impressive 74.7 completion percentage, that's almost 75% my friends, that's right 3/4ths of his passes caught. He's also thrown 26 TD passes on the season in 10 games. That's 2.6 TD passes/game, i checked that math on my calc! HOWEVER, the Diablo defense has allowed 2 TD passes ALL SEASON!!!!!! That is best in the league, Bier can move the ball, but can they punch it in, something's got to give folks.
Diablo Dots O-Line/TE vs Bier Market's D Front 7 - This will be an interesting matchup to watch as Diablo has amassed an impressive 1,074 pancakes on the season which is good for 2nd in the league. If Bier's Rush D wants to continue holding opp's under 50 ypg, they are going to have to stay off their backs, not an easy feat vs those devilish dots.
BONUS
Diablo Punt Returner DEION SANDERS vs Bier Market Punt Coverage - Deion currently sits atop the Eastern Conference ST's MVP race and for good reason; he has a Conference leading PR Avg at 22.2 and TD's at 8. He is a flat out weapon and could change the game in 1 play. In what figures to be a close game Bier MUST keep this guy under wraps.
There it is folks, this one should be a dandy, I'm as excited as a fat kid in a candy shop with a stoned checkout clerk! I do like Bier in this one though, no upset special this week, Diablo is very run heavy and the last time Bier faced a run heavy team the outcome was not so pretty for those no air dots from West Morgan. Even w/ the mini helmets, leave your Diablo Syrup at home boys, Bier 38 - Diablo 24.
