I'd have to say you are one active agent for sure. Games need people like you to give the game what itself does not offer. The GLB forums were intricate in the interest of the game itself. This is a hard area to manage for games, what is too much and what is okay in back and forth banter in games? Many people get their feelings hurt and discontinue to post while others will troll til they last breath.

Ya know, it's pretty funny. Pallow really thinks if I was mod I would act exactly like I do now. Anyone that knows me very well knows I have a serious side. It's laughable that Pallow believes I would act like the village idiot as mod. Just goes to show the paranoia Bort has instilled in his staff.

Well, can only give people a chance. I personally think the job would suck. This is a hard crowd for sure, mostly the reason I've kept quiet all these years. Was like screw sticking my neck out to get cut off.

Oh, I've modded at several sites. I know it's a thankless job and you catch nothing but shit. Only reason I wanted it here was I love this game and would want to use my mod position to organize entertaining forum games and such to energize the userbase. Unfortunately, people like Dorksandyvag and NMV were given mod spots so they could shit all over the forums and ruin users experience.

I doubt I would have ever banned anyone or moved/locked many threads. Would have been too focused on improving users forum experience. Love this game and I want others to love it as well.

Exactly the purpose of modding a game in the first place is to reward the people that want to make the game better. It shouldn't be the mods call to ban people.

I made it into the top 20 list for moderator but thats as close as I got...then I was told some mods or admins were against that idea and so here we are

Oh, I was almost mod back in 2008 when I was with the FAQ team. Had a problem with one of the shit mods and things went downhill from there. Funny thing is, one of those mods actually put in a good word for me back then. I was the only one on the ol' FAQ team that didn't make mod. Mat, Nixx, sharpie, DL, ect... all made mod. lol

Dub your a mod in my eyes....or at least the job would be yours to lose

I would like to think I have more respect from the userbase than the mods do. I don't harbor any ill will toward the mods...I actually like them. They're just not on my level, though.

Dub, you actually seem to have a great time in the forums. I think being a mod would have ruined the game for you possibly... You would have tried your best to do all the great things you suggested. The issue is would the management team have supported them and actually listened to you?

All the nerfing basically killed build planning...each season is like playing Russian Roulette...what works 1 season might not work the next
