I guess the problem is the human factor, since only past games and dot values are used ( I presume)
A change in AI and everything is different.
The guys over at Cold Hart Football Facts Facts (com) have some nifty stats, but you need the data for it. Won`t help you in Vegas, until December and even then, they mispredict NFL games plenty of times.
My prediction is that 8 teams of each conference will have no more games at the end of the season
