Scat fb: http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4381392&playoffs=0

Decent scat fb. Head fake did not fire that much, juke/spin fired often though. I wish I would of gone with more break tackle stuff and more QC SA.

Two pieces of AEQ/CEQ and 15 vet points, that's a huge cost for a few broken tackles per season. Not even close to being worth it, IMO.

To be fair, the dot got NO rushing touches and very few receiving touches. Based on production you could argue giving that dot a roster spot on his team wasn't close to being worth it, but it's a little much to say AEQ/CEQ was the problem.

Chance Scales: Pass Rush DT that can't tackle
http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4388105

Dominated in Natty Pro for a couple seasons, was "ok" on a WL playoff team for a couple seasons, but nothing noteworthy. I still think the premise behind not allocating tackling resources to a pure pass rusher that can be forced into the line-up.

Ultimately, my lack of focus on the build was the biggest factor in his failure. Picked the wrong archetype, and I have no idea what I was doing with equipment (+6 agi for CE is missing from current build). All-in-all, his lack of ability to pass rush among the games best was a build failure, but having better spd/agi/str triangle numbers with bad tackling ability is a pretty clear success.

I feel ok about how his career went down, I just wish he was built better, sigh...

Christian Ponder
http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4340747

Pocket passer and I focused too much on strength and too little on vision, basically slapping ALGs in the face, plus had higher +pass distance instead of +PQ, which didn't make sense. Learned my lesson and already in the process of attempting that one again.

Yello, that power FB should have had all his EQ in strength. He could have averaged 4 yards per carry easily, and been very effective.

Good to know!

He had two sets of gear, with the one he retired on being all for blocking (speed to get outside).

But I didn't have his power all in strength so that is informative. Thanks!

Also, a good power FB should be used in the HB position every now and again.

Are you paying attention Jami?

Was fun to watch, never really made an impact though.

So you're suggesting that a FB with 89 speed could have averaged 4 yards a carry at the World League level?
