I don't see the new user activity that i used to so i'm guessing they're right?

Suggestions for how to get it going again:

1) it's 2014, get a damn app. this is priority 1. Any day thats not a game day I only need to be on the site for 10 minutes max, seems like an app would be perfect for that.

2) tighten up the A.I. and balance out the SP, AP system. experience should count for something when it comes to building dots but there should be more than one path to becoming an elite dot.

3) create a better experience around the actual games. make watching live easier, flesh out the match-up screens to be a little more in depth with things like "recent trends" for each team or "milestone watch" if a player is coming up to a milestone sometime soon. anything to give it a little more presentation.

4) assuming you can get the first 3 things worked out and stats are coming out close to real life football: add a flex point wagering system. In my experience people will bet on just about anything as long as they dont think it's fixed and think that with the proper skill you can pick a winner. Book keeping is good money and I'm going to assume mods could spend more time on the game if there was a little more cash coming their way.

I know I'm going to get some shit for this post (because thats the way the internet works) but anyone who isn't too forum-jaded and has ideas post em here.

I like GLB, it's alot of fun (even when you suck) and I want to see it do well

As much as I admire the effort. No one has paid attention to this game in like 10 seasons. Everything you mentioned above has been suggested for like 30 seasons already it seems like. Nice try.

I can understand and appreciate a comment like this, I can even understand and appreciate a comment like "doesn't this guy know theres already a thread called "suggestions"??" (realized this about 10 seconds after my original post to be honest)

I just can't understand why if you actually enjory GLB you'd shoot down an enthusiastic noob who just wants to make this into something more than what it currently is.

If OP would have just added "make better graphics, like 1980 Tecmo Bowl style"

lol it would be an upgrade

GLB 2 has better "graphics" but I find myself missing glb when I play it. Not just because you lose things like being able to see the qb checking down but because the theres only one tackle and catch animation. Also my kicker runs up to the ball from the left and then kicks it with his left foot... i'll take the dots

the problem is that no one cares from WG about improving GLB1, they are set in their ways about just letting it stay as is and all their efforts are on GLB2.

The standard response from WG will be try GLB2

So you are stuck with what you have with GLB1 and just enjoy it for what it is.
I tried GLB2 and didn't care for it so stuck with the game I love and will just stay here until it is completely dead.

If you are noobish, PM me and ill get you into a network where you can build with teams that stick around for the long haul.
That seems to be the only way to have fun these days.

Most "pickup teams" rage quit or suck balls and you don't have a good experience.

And Classic has how many tackle and catch animations?

Srsly, admins barely log on here anymore, never mind the guy that codes the game.
