For some reason I thought that once you got to higher levels and WR's/TE's got their catching up that we would see a more NFL like games I guess. A game that isn't heavily influenced by either the pass or the rushing game and depended on teams strengths to win....

Now I just see that you rush, and then rush some more. That way you don't get picked, or drop open passes.

Goal Line Blitz Classic is a web-based American Football MMORPG. We've written a custom football simulation engine to provide you with the ultimate football experience on the web.

Do you love fantasy football? Ever wished you could play with the pros? Join other football fans from around the world in building the player and team of your dreams, right here.

By mentioning pro football here, you're falsely advertising that this sim runs like a pro game (NFL)... but it doesn't. I wish I had the time to reference previous posts and all that other crap about Interceptions being crazy and stuff... and I'm sure I will add to this but seriously guys.... is there actually anyone running GLB at the moment? It seems like Bort is dead, not figuratively... actually dead.

Euchrid is the only admin that posts... there used to be a few and even Bort would update stuff. Now... nothing.

In a nutshell, you are now lying to us and selling us a product that doesn't meet what it says it does. Your turn to fix this

I wonder if people actually understand how the Meta-game works....

Short answer, yes. Pass heavy teams just do not have the same chance of winning. Passing isn't dead but it's certainly a far less preferable option in the current sim.

why pass when you can put a LB at QB and throw a Blocking TE or a BFB in at WR and run all day? Fumbles are only recovered at maybe a 30% rate if you are lucky. No risk in running. Eventually you will break something.

you also have an offense that can run through eachother, where you have a defense that just bumps into eachother. So you technically have even more blockers on the offensive side of the ball. Its almost like watching a florida gator game every play except backwards

Casual ftw.

Although even that has had a heavier run focus in recent seasons.

Pretty sure both all run teams in WL lost in the first round

All run = stupid, but being a run-heavy team is infinitely more viable than a pass-heavy team. WL teams average about 60% rushing as is.

I think DarkRogue answers this question the best.

One got blown out in the first round, the other failed to make the playoffs. Rush only is not an effective WL option imo.

Too easy to shut down if the other team knows exactly what you are going to do and is competent at dotball and trying.
