When I was a kid (way back in the 20th century), there used to be a local rasslin' TV program shown on Suinday mornings before the Cholly Mac LSU highlights show. I would see the first guy (call him Mr. X) lying on the mat while the second guy (Call him Grizzly Smith) would stomp his right foot down hard on the mat next to Mr. X's ear. Mr. X would then go into a seizure and start flopping around. I didn't understand at first, but after a couple weeks I began to understand that the TV camera was "behind" the action that the crowd in attendance was seeing. To them, it must have looked looked like Grizzly had just crushed Mr.X's skull. I still thought that there were probably more people watching on TV than in attendance, but I guess that it may have incited the live crowd to turn nasty if they were seeing what was really happening.
