A rookie team I CFO for was just billed a first installment towards our initial 1.5mill loan. I thought the offseason didn't count towards the timing for loan repayment?? in the past I was able to wait until day 0, if desired and could pay entire payment in1 lump sum. Now, we've been hit with this first payment and could end up spending 260k in additional interest.


did something change? or was this an error of some sort?

You have 10 days. When was the loan taken out?

The off season counts.

Yeah, that's why I always wait until right before the offseason ends to take out a loan.

if you pay it off now you still will avoid the interest

pay it off if can no interest

never heard of the offseason counting.....maybe the teams just waiting like Dub said, until D47 or so to take it out. Think we did it around D42 after we were official in rookie league which makes sense to the timing. Will definitely try paying it off after tonights tix sales

The off season has always counted for loan payments.
