Is it truly worth and investment to take it to 8 or 10?

stopped using it many seasons ago - better off using SP/AE elsewhere

Yes. If you have a play count above 33 on MLB use it

tis why I am asking. I have never made a passing QB before and want to get my ducks in a row before hand

all of my MVP winning QB's have had at least 8 in it.

I've seen wl champion qbs with 1 in it and I've seen 10 with 11 in it

You don't need it for a QB and offense to be good. Really just need the first 3 SAs and quick read.

This. By far. At least the last time I had a QB. Which probably means it hasn't changed much.

Only WL MVP QB I've OC'd had 8+ in it.

Seriously though, Field General on QBs is one of the random things that was group-thinked to be popular meta stuff, then group-thinked to be unpopular anti-meta stuff. Neither it's rise nor fall were tracked by any empirical proof at all.

Short answer, no one still knows if the general SA's are good.
