it depends on how you want to play the game. lots of people seem to prefer cpu teams. others prefer being on teams with more lively forums where they can get build help, but those teams are more likely to expect you to build exactly how they tell you to. so just ask any prospective owner what their expectations are. also on a cpu team, you have zero control over how your player is used, which may or may not be true on a human team.
