I'm pretty sure Bort or HeWhoShallNotBeNamed said that fake % AEQ does help catch fake. Anecdotal evidence appears to support that as well.

fake % was around before catch fake was created, and we know they dont particularly like to retrofit the wording of things... im pretty sure it works on catch fake
