After much debate at an owners meeting tonight it was determined that the loss to the MÜNCHEN ZEEBACHS was the last straw. The Chiefs will be resetting at the end of the season to begin another chapter in their long standing franchise. As much as we've enjoyed this season we have determined we just don't have enough to compete in World League and wasting away another season here in WEPL or WL just won't be any fun.
Mentone Beach management wants to sincerely apologize to all the teams we beat the crap out of and eliminated from the playoffs this season. Our intention was to compete and make a push to return to the WL and felt confident we could; however, the MÜNCHEN ZEEBACHS proved we are not worthy. So don't be mad a the Chiefs for your loss, be mad at the MÜNCHEN ZEEBACHS.
I wish everyone luck and hope you're not resetting next season as you'll feel the wraith of the Chiefs as we try to beat our previous win streak! I have already sent PMs out to teams that our dots may consider, but I'm sure when Todd or myself finally puts up our ads we will give WEPL teams higher priority when signing.
