I should be able to get all 5 major skills (agility, confidence, speed, tackle, vision) to the 3rd cap at age 40 and before S-41 games begin. That's all 5 major skills to 60.52+. ( or more)
I will have 93 skill pt's at level 16. Plus 3 boosts for S-40 & 41. That's 36 more SP's to add.
For a total of 129 skill pt's.
I'm also currently sitting on 72 BT's. (some will be needed to unlock my minor skills in Stength, Jumping &/or Stamina--only need to unlock 2 of the 3) but the rest could be used for extra skill pt's if needed.
Training has been going well.
And yes, i plan to get all 5 of them to into the 80's or more.
We'll see how that goes.
60 confidence is a waste of SP
obviously you are building for fun and not for your player to actually be good, but as long as you are having fun that is all that matters

ALGs are the biggest factor of your playrt in this game, they happen every time you level up and they are worth more to you the higher a skill is. By getting one skill to a massively high cap you are ensuring yourself a lot of value on the ALGs of that skill every time you level and are maximizing the build's value.
Capping one skill hard as you can is the best course of action, training that skill beyond a certain point gains you less than training on 4x eventually so you switch over once that happens and continue on.
basically, this game is all kinds of fugged because the basic formula has been cracked already.

depends, the difference in 48 confidence and 60 is noticeable in HBs and KRs, I've not seen a difference in defense though.

Every single attribute over 60... probably the best dot in the history of the game.

First -- everyone following the same "plan" gets us to cookie cutter builds so it is a good thing to try to push the envelope to try and squeeze a few more points out.
I am experimenting somewhat with a similar idea this season -- though rather than enhancing the attributes, I convert the BT to an extra SP if it means getting the player to the next cap before his next level-up. That way, the ALGs count as more.
As Gambler75 said, you will be better served to apply the SP that you are holding to an attribute to get it at least to one of the caps to take advantage of the ALGs. If you still want to get larger training gains, just do not train that one but train a lower attribute instead. That will bring that lower attribute up to the cap more quickly as well.
The question in the build philosophies really comes down to which is more effective over the long term course of a career -- getting a primary attribute up into the 70s, 80s or even 90s for a longer period at the higher values versus having 3 or 4 attributes gaining at the same time. I think that, at various times in a career, each philosophy would have a window of being superior to the other. The question is more into which window the end build would fall.
Why are you experimenting with an actual build? Can't you just use the VPB and experiment in about an hour and see how it works out/ I probably "experimented" with some of my current builds as many as 10-15 times, but I spent ~30 min each time, not several months.
