Hate to say this is an exercise in futility but consider; Most here simply want to hear from Bort that things are totally normal... that new stuff if being considered and soon to be implemented... that GLB1 is STILL a big thing with WG. Truth is, GLB1 is an old game whose shelf life is degenerating. Fact. Not fiction. Will we miss it? Sure. Will we find other things to enjoy... duh. Whatchu think? Pouring money, time, and resources into this game just isn't on the horizon and, most likely, shouldn't be if WG wants to really grow and expand their market. New games are the answer (Sorry... GLB2 doesn't really count as a new game... just a lame extension of this one and slated to be nothing but a bridge to the next game they're working on) and that's where WG is gonna be spending time and effort. They'll work to keep this one going as long as it's financially feasible... maybe, since it's their baby, even past that. But, without NEW players joining in in much bigger numbers than the last several seasons, there's no future here. Just living out the days and enjoying the ride while it lasts.
So, get over yourselves and enjoy as much as you can for now. tomorrow approaches and time always wins. I for one think that is a shit mindset. You have here a customer base that is willing to put more $$'s into your game and into a game that isn't really costing you money at the moment surely, because as you mentioned, time and effort is spent on GLB2 and whatever it's 'bridging' to.
The agents here are here because it is a football sim. I'm not going to a baseball sim or a mortal kombat sim or whatever the hell is getting thrown around. This is complete disregard for customers.
So many games out there are updated games, but they keep the same generic features of the original and fix up the graphics or the game play or the user face, GLB2 hasn't done that. Everyone knows it's a different game that is nothing like GLB 1 and who knows what it was intended for.
