The point is that the game is old and no longer updated/supported at the level of a new game. Why wouldn't it be reasonable to dramatically reduce the price to reflect the diminished value we're getting back? Similar to pretty much every other company that has a dated game on the market.

I'm not swearing off From Software because they are no longer updating Demons Souls. I'm sure they still care and want people to play Demons Souls, but it's just not realistic to have a team of people working on every product indefinitely.

Huge difference between having a team of people working on every product indefinitely, and abandoning and or having noone at all working on the original product.

never heard of it, but I am pretty sure that by sequels, you mean that they made additions to the original game. They did not come up with "another game" that had a 2 after the original title.

Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2. But the comparisons are all stupid because no one spent $500+ on any of those titles.
