Chat was removed a long time ago because the third party software had major security issues.

If you're still seeing a chat tab at the top red bar, you need to refresh the site. Hit control f5, that should force a reload of the page.

the OP was not specific to which chat he was referring.

What i said is not incorrect. The team chat bar is on a grey set of tabs (and is still visible as far as i can see)

As for team chat, that has already been noted and commented on in the suggestions forum by Euchrid.

Just ~8 posts down off the top post, it seemed the generic title "chat is not working" didn't imply it was about team chat.
Notice above corndog also thought you were referring to the general chat as that was a third party software they were using. Not the team chat.
