I am new and bought a team in a "casual" league wanted a team in a competitive league. I have purchased another team in the right rookie league. Only problem is I spent the day making my players and added them to my casual team. If I sell my casual team can my player be released now Or do I have to wait the 6 days still?

When a team is sold, all the players on the team receive a message telling them they have 3 days to release themselves from the team. I would assume it's the same if you own the team and the players. In addition as long as the team is CPU you can send contracts to the players and they can sign them.

Since it appears you already sold the team, you should have your answer already. Send contracts to the players from the rookie team.
