Could be. Can't say I watched every single play but one (a SS) had no SV and the other (the FS) did and on plays where they were both in... especially screens and pitch plays... I noticed the FS would head towards the ball sooner than the SS on a lot of plays. Since both had about the same vision, I suspected the SV to be the only real difference between them and therefore suspected it to be the reason for the difference. As it's been said, since it doesn't show when it's "firing", it's hard to know the truth.

Build A for sure.

Change Direction is very under-rated as an SA, and it's a flat bonus per each point. So it doesn't really build off of your base agility and doesn't have a chance to fire or have it's strength based off your agility. Look at Wise's 176 speed HB for evidence of how effective CD is at covering for agility in direction changes.

Bhall and theo are both right about Super Vision, it does several things as an SA.
One, think of it as a flat boost to vision checks on defense, it boosts your ability to pass the vision checks for play recognition.
Two, like Bhall says, it offers you a secondary roll after failing a vision check for fakes. The strength of this roll is augmented by how many points you have in the SA, so the more points you have in the SA, the stronger this part of the SA gets exponentially. So the difference from 5-6 points is much smaller than the difference from 8-9 points in this SA. While the first part of this SA is just a flat bonus to your play recognition roll, and the difference between 5-6 points is the same as the difference between 8-9 points. So the benefit is linear on this section of the SA.

Honestly, For any dot in coverage or that is charged with the job of shutting down elusive rushers, Super vision and Change Direction are must SA's due to how much they add to a build.

Guy A is the better LB for the circumstances you have described.

Unfortunately, "believing" thats what should happen in this sim and what actually happens on the sim field are 2 totally different results. I really don't want to post replay's i kinda said i would be "anonymous" about it. The one with much less agility and vision and only 6 more SV but with much more change direction is not good. Change direction isn't going to help a level 68 dot with 90 agility, its certainly not going to help a level 79 dot with 90 agility vs high elusives or TE's cutting. SV is based on "high" vision attribute. 4 in it is more then enough to complement a 90 vision LB to get faked out way way less. I so wish i could show them side by side in action,.
