Playoff bound


#1 - Porto People Eaters (10-0) - warmup game vs Brooklyn before they get the resurgent Mercenaries.


#2 - Motor City Heavanraisers (8-2) - After losing 2 of their first 3 Motor City has run off 7 straight wins, looking to make it 8 off of a slumping Portland team.


#3 - Portland OUTRAGE (9-1) - Depth chart gaffe or not the OUTRAGE hasn't matched up well vs E-City and it isn't too much of a surprise to see E-City win. Big game vs MCH and their dynamic duo of Briars and Rollen Thunder.

#4 - Lux Borg (8-2) - The top defense in WEPL has allowed just 4 FG's the last 2 games and looks primed for a playoff run to WL.


#5 -Tigana Wolves (6-4) - House of Bat and madcow back to back may not have looked so difficult earlier in the season, that was then this is now. House of Bat upset the Wolves and madcow is also playing much improved possibly due more to chemistry than anything else.


#6 - Legends of Awesomeness (7-3) - Another team that has a very good defense, might not be on par with Lux, but they're not too far behind.

The playoffs are there for any of this group, they just need to go and take it.


#7 - E-city (5-5) - Big win vs the OUTRAGE put the Mercenaries in the thick of the playoff race.


#8 - House of Batiatus (5-5) - Very VERY nice win vs Tigana. Curious if they knocked out a bunch of people from survivor.. (need to look...lol). House has really positioned themselves well for a playoff run with the huge win and they still have 3 gimmies left on the schedule. Assured of at least an 8-8 record.


#9 - WUiener CultDawgz (5-5) - CultDawgz are REELING, losing 4 straight, soon to be 5 if they can't contain the South Yorkshire run game.


#10 - South Yorkshire Aftershocks (A.D.D.) (4-6) - Had a chance with about 2 minutes to play but couldnt pull out the come from behind win vs LOA. Next game vs the CultDawgz who also need a win.


#11 - Brethren Krewe Turtle Ships (5-5) - A few games ago the Turtle Ships were 5-2 and things we're looking solid. 3 losses later they sit at .500 and are currently on the outside of the playoffs looking in. They have 2 easy games to finish the season but need to punch out a few wins before then.


#12 - Black Hand (4-6) - With no easy games left the loss to madcows team really put a hurt on Black Hands playoff chances.

#13 - Madcow sayz eat mor chikin (3-7) - nice win vs Black Hand, but is it too little too late?

#14 - New York Nightmare (3-7) - won't win another game

Portland Rage vs Motor City Heavanraisers
This is a toughie. Ragers have an O that is hard to stop, and a D that is pretty suspect while MCH is more balanced. Decent O, Decent D. I think MCH has been tested a little more thoroughly, unfortunately they have lost most of the close games they have been in so far. I think Mavoo and company have been on cruise control all season and haven't had to fix much. I think MCH has done some tweaking and fixing already as their wake up calls came earlier in the season. Will the loss to ECM inspire the rage to fix a few holes so they can get the win, or will MCH's early trials pay them dividends now. I like MCH in this one. Both teams want to control the ball, and I think portland will win the clock, but lose the game.

No Honorable mention this week because the game above is huge in determining the top 4 spots, imo.

A big Thanks to Mav and Primate. The toughest conference in Nat Pro should have the best write ups and that we have. Great job and great read.

Playing Mav's teams are always my favorite games of the season, hands down and this game is pretty big. GL and looking forward to see the game, good or bad - they are always a great watch. However, I suspect this won't be the past time we play this season.

Another slow sim day. Ah well, need to learn patience anyway. While I am thinking of it. Those teams that end up from 9th to 13th place. As soon as the season is over - PUT YOUR REQUEST into Support to Stay in WEPL. No need for good teams to go down to Regional Pro and it makes the season MUCH better. We had a few teams do it last season and it made the season significantly more competitive. Plus if you have a team full of plateau dots I am sure they built them to play Nat Pro.

Great season and it aint even over yet.

I like doing them and they're even more fun when people respond. When no one responds I start to think why am I bothering with these...lol So thanks and I'm sure Primate appreciates it as well.

There were some pretty good games this week.

LOA game was a really good one, and ADD/Wu was crazy.

Wow, yes there were some great games. Too many missed opportunities on MCH, but man it was exciting from play to play.

Great Game Rage. As I expected. Gonna have to watch that one again.
