Sneaking in a follow up to this. For a FB with Shock Block, would he be run blocking when he is pulling out or would that switch occur when the catch is made?

This was answered previously. 10% hit for 0 chemistry, 0% hit for 100 chemistry. Scales from 0-100.

I'm thinking a break tackle, high strength, high carrying, first step, surge, power thru, dive 4 yards QB that mostly runs up the gut for those easy 1-3 yard short yardage situations. Would first step not be helpful in getting into the line in order to get surge to fire more quicky?

Yeah, it could help, but it would probably most useful for the shotgun sneaks, since he's further from the line.

Any thoughts on revising Clever Instincts? As it is, the only function it has is if you build after the offseason ends, but it is not in effect at all during plateau. Since almost no one builds a dot after the offseason and even then it wouldn't work at the highest levels of the game, wouldn't it be better to have the trigger be something like fame (especially as fame is almost useless, but gives a nice bonus to teams that actually try in the minors and win games as a result)?

Suggestion, sorry TT.

Only if it affects his morale enough. There's no "bad streak" code specifically.

There is a ball. The ball will move. That is all.

To my eyes it doesn't but waiting for the official answer. I'd like to see something like this but i suspect balancing will be difficult. Everyone hates bad passes type grumbling imo

Opinions vary. Difficult but possible but probably not to the extent that the people building the dual threat want it to be.

There are no balls in dotcar. Stop misleading!

We are getting a LOT closer to starting testing and initial feedback.

I suppose I can release a minor teaser: The project closest to release has some fun retro-styled sprite animation, a more interesting character building system than GLB (IMO), and I think you guys will really have a lot of fun with it.

When can I start testing it?

P much set in stone but if there is a valid reason to make a change and it makes sense I won't throw out the possibility of reviewing it.

what goes into the routine where the QB is deciding whether to stay behind the line to throw, or take off and run? Are there any situational things like if it's 3rd and 7, will he take off when there's a 5 yard opening? Would increased Vision help the decision making process in any way?

He generally avoids scrambling on 3rd and more than 2 or 3 (the threshold is higher). The main thing that determines if he scrambles or not is the amount of pressure vs lowest risk receiver (if he's still high risk), and if there's nobody blocking his path in the next 5 yards. Vision doesn't really come into it other than avoiding rolling into defenders and such.
