Yeah, I don't get how they do promotions anymore. There was a team that went 10-6 in Reg Pro Elite that got demoted to Reg Pro Comp, and then teams that are barely playoff teams in the lower tier Reg Pro leagues are promoted. Why have the Elite / Comp / Normal tiers if they don't mean anything?

You know it. I mean, why did they condense the Pro leagues down if they are letting in worse teams than they were under the old model? Teams aren't going to be getting WL ready by playing teams that barely held on in a Reg Pro competitive league.

Asau lost in the League Championship in Reg Pro #3 and moved up to Pro, but the team that beat us and went undefeated only moved up to Reg Pro Elite. I'm not complaining about moving up, but not sure why this team didn't move up as well http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=2865

The prefered region is a junk feature that was never updated with the new condensed Pro leagues.
The promotion system is automated and worthlessly coded.
I realize my 10-6 RPE team didn't make the playoffs, but that shouldn't mean we should drop into Regional Pro #2 the following season when I know we could be an average playoff team at the least.
Kinda funky. I went ahead and found a gutted WL drop down to trade places with but it's still kinda fishy how the promotion is done from Regional Pro to WL, because if you go by the announcement they made when they changed to this system they haven't stuck by that criteria outside of promoting the 16 RPE playoff teams.

Because you can request to stay in regional pro, right form your team page
