Yes I have seen other threads but there is no solutions. I looked for a previous version of FF even and couldn't find one.

In that post you will find a link to multiple version of FF. 20.0.1 seems to be the one that most folks agree works the best. I had other issues with that version and 22 seems to be working at least alright, not perfectly mind you.

Well that accomplished having about 17 unwanted programs installed on my PC and I still ended up with version 22.

How so? Makes little to no sense... you know you can turn off auto updates right?
Also, which 17 unwanted programs did you download..... sounds like you need to work this out a bit. Not the other way around.

I can four-way multi-train but not three-way multi-train. Is that also a Firefox issue?

FF 22 definitely has a problem with multi-training anything other than 4 attributes.

I suspect it has something with the way the VPB script maintains history. I may be able to find some time to look at it in the next couple weeks. It may be a bit above my javascript abilities, though.

I didn't either, but FF 20 is very unstable on most machines, mine included. If the browser is in fact stable on your machine it is a good idea to keep it.

Might work. Might not. Looks like it does in Firefox 25. No clue if it fixes Chrome. http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/173655

So, Chrome still has an issue once you level up, but only if you are multi-training as near as I can tell.
