The skill description for catching on my WR says that it helps him catch the ball in stride without bobbling it. So, if I just want him to catch the ball, but don't care about catching in stride should I really worry about putting many points into catching?

If I just want him to come down with it then will jumping, vision, and strength help him fight for the ball more and hold on to it without catching skill?

That's just a bad description. Catching is by far the most important attribute for catching the ball and you should push it into the 80s or preferably higher. Jumping helps some on contested passes, while I'm not sure if vision or strength do.

wait, you are actually going to make a good point. Unheard of. Seriously though, I get why this question is being asked since this is about the product that it is about. However, isn't it a damn shame that the question has to be asked. In the end, it is as it should be, important though.

However, the question that was answered in the Q&A thread was about the non-diving catching radius. Does the catching radius affect the ability to catch the ball itself or just the radius available for a catch?
