I see a lot of power backs run up to the line of scrimmage... scurry around for a bit (even if there is an opening) and then hit the hole, instead of just hitting it. Do you think this is a function of vision? I've never felt that vision was important for the wrecking ball backs that just pound it up the middle, but wondering if vision has a little more to do with that..
Also, what do you guys think about agility vs. speed? I've always placed more emphasis on speed but starting to also think that agility is undervalued, since it has more to do with acceleration. How often do power backs have the opportunity to turn on the jets? I'm thinking that the little bit of acceleration may be more important than top speed.
