Any reason why the Prep Tourney can't have its own thread?

Looks like 69 teams so far, with the signups ending a little over 6 hours from now. If that holds, we'd have 59 teams getting an opening round bye and 10 teams playing "play-in" games.

From there, it'd be the NCAA tourney... round of 64, round of 32, round of 16, round of 8, round of 4, championship game. So, winning the tourney will require 6 or maybe 7 wins.

Now 70 teams. That makes it 58 teams with an opening-round bye and 12 teams playing "play-in" games.

20 teams from Prep Competitive #1.
19 teams from Prep Competitive #2.
21 teams from Prep Competitive #3.
2 teams from Prep League #4.
8 teams from Prep League #5.

I might -- MIGHT -- put together a list of all of the teams in the tourney sorted by Effective Level after the enrollment period closes. However, it'd involve running scripts on all 5 Prep leagues and then doing a metric ton of manual editing, so I reserve the right to say "Eh, never mind" and not bother with it.

I wouldn't bother. Everyone will be boosting soon enough. If you were going to put in that effort I would wait til everyone boosted from 22-25.

Lots of last-second entries coming through. Up to 72 teams now. That makes it 56 teams with an opening-round bye and 16 teams playing "play-in" games.

only reason why this tourney rocks is because i ever have to worry about scheduling any games and its free.

Not the Palookas. This is the first time I've ever entered one of my teams in any tourney, actually. Figured I'd just start with the free one.
