As per the title, there were several here in the public forums, one of the last two was even commented on by a tester with results from the test server.

I don't store links, but would really like to locate this one. If anyone can help, I'd be extremely thankful.

Thank you in advance for your time.

???

Should point out the data in the linked thread resulted in several changelog additions;

Aug 8, 2012
- Increased power of confidence in avoiding bad passes

Dec 1, 2012
- Increased confidence attribute strength toward avoiding bad throws from hurries by quite a bit
- Decreased radius for which a hurry is registered by a couple feet, and adjusted blocker angle calculations to be a little more stingy on awarding a hurry

And quite a lot of progression/pressure reaction fixes too.

I'd like to see this test run again with the changes mentioned above.

Thank you very much, it wasn't that one, but that should do.

So confidence helps a QB get sacked more?

No, there were changes that made it less likely for a hurry to occur which in turn led to more sacks. To be more specific, if a QB was being hurried he would have been more likely to get rid of the football. With the decrease in hurries due to the changes, it led to a small, proportional increase in sacks.

Complete changelog for those changes:

Dec 1, 2012
- World League now plays on even days
- Increased QB first progression look timer and look away risk threshold a little bit
- Reduced amount QB is willing to underthrow a receiver for all downs and distances by 2 yds
- Decreased radius for which a hurry is registered by a couple feet, and adjusted blocker angle calculations to be a little more stingy on awarding a hurry
- Fixed FB blocking on Big I sweep plays so he will focus further outside
- Increased confidence attribute strength toward avoiding bad throws from hurries by quite a bit
- Adjusted QB risk calculations and throw windup timing to hit receivers earlier, closer to their route's "spot," especially for shorter throws and right after a fake
- Fixed some bad blocking vs certain blitzes

I guess because he holds the ball in the pocket a little longer and isn't as likely to be rattled by the pass rush, and thus "hurried." So, hurries go way down, but sacks go up slightly.

Isn't this:

Kind of inconsistent with this?:

Hurry/Att 30.15 pct
Sack/Att 3.13 pct
BadTh/Att 13.85 pct
BadTh/Hurry 45.93 pct

New Code:

Hurry/Att 15.88 pct
Sack/Att 5.73 pct
BadTh/Att 10.49 pct
BadTh/Hurry 66.0 pct

ETA: Although it's probably just a large undocumented increase to the baseline badth/hurry rate and a simmed QB with low conf.

Maybe the explanation is worded inaccurately?

Seems as though the hurries went down possibly due to the buff in confidence, but the affect of the hurries actually went up.
Basically swapping the difference and keep things status quo

Meaning: Your QB will not be forced into too many bad throw situations, but when they are they will be more likely to throw a bad one

That was noted and adjustments were made before the changes were moved live. I posted these results for informational purposes only. There was much more in depth testing conducted, this was just the base line statistical analysis we used.

It would be interesting to see this test http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=4963855&page=1#46034354 done with a QB that has a MAX contract morale bonus. I'm sure that's part of the hidden GLB code, but still would be interesting to see the results.

morale and confidence are not the same thing. You are talking about apples to oranges.
