I am having a lil bit of trouble stopping pitches, what kind of things can i do to stuff those runs.

My defenders do not react or get to the RB before he cuts up the field and runs for a huge gain

A defensive tip or advice that doesn't leave my defense completely open for the passing game

Post some replays so I can see how your defense is set up and I will see what I can do to help you.

Safeties in strong/weak under 4th zones. Won't give you deep help, but depending on your level you might not need it; pass quality quickly degrades at the lower levels, so deep help isn't as important.
