SA
6-4-4

looking for some general advice...would i be better off training confidence, strength, or vision? should i stave off putting more FPs in SAs?

I was thinking of going w/ 2 kicking & 1 strength for each of the next two levels while training on speed or agility, sound decent?

I'll assume that you have kicking maxed. Max out confidence before adding any more SA's.

You're in a similar position to where my kicker was (although you have less kicking, and more SA's).

Get kicking up to the 3 SP cap, Strength and Confidence up to the 2 SP cap, and Vision not far behind.

It's one of your major skills...just like kicking is. It's worth reaching the soft cap.

Wow, you've got a great kicker. I guess there is more than one way to build a kicker because confidence is working great for my guy. I'll need to do some more investigatin.

and for the OP it will happen naturally in 8 levels. You get plenty of confidence from leveling up, Kicking and strength are way more important I think

What you think is right.. 14/15 from 50 yards out.

thanks man, by the way I'm sure confidence has value for a kicker, but its value is imo met by the 1 a level automatic gain.

Confidence has a lot to do with it. My kicker didnt start kicking 50+ until I had his conf over 50. I think vision is over rated. Mine is at 23 and I have not missed anything under 50 yds. I have also tried 5 over 60 making 2, 60 and 61. I'm sure there are diiferent ways to get a good build but this worked for me.

BAM!!!
Kicker Police: "Son you're breaking the law. You're tweaking your stats to attempt longer and lower % field goals that might result in good field position for your opponents. Do you know what the punishment for doing this is? You could have your kicking privileges suspended for such reckless public footery. But we're going to let you off with a warning, this time."

I'll take better than 50% from 50+ any day. Sometimes you have to go for the points and not worry about what the other team MIGHT do if you miss. I'll go back and see what happened after my 7 misses, but i will bet the 14 Fgs that I made will out score the points the teams put up after I missed.

OK, it was 8 misses not 7 but i missed in one game we gave up FG. In another we gave up a TD. Thats all. So I win 42-10.
