A look at the games indicates some sort of review of passing and a lot of work on screen passes.

Why screens? I thought they were p balanced this season. very boom or bust, could be defended if you planned for them.

Maybe this is why they are working on screens?

WR screens suck.. HB/FB screens are fine

The thing about any screen is, if the defense knows it's coming and is properly set up, then it shouldn't work very well or very often. Ant the main thing I've seen about screens in GLB style football is that, by the inherent game design, they most likely shouldn't work like you think they should.
My reason? Screen plays in REAL football work because the defense is made of "HUMANS"... not dots. Humans over pursue, over play, over react, over read, and get caught out of position. Dots are AI brained, computer based, number driven... and therefore are more likely NOT to be caught out of position. In fact, I've seen plenty of posts screaming about how certain positions aren't reacting to various plays (particularly rushing plays) fast enough. They seem to stay in their zones and ignore the fact the HB now has the ball and is sweeping to the outside.
Against an improperly set up defense, a screen is gonna work, mostly, in GLB... but against a properly set up defense... with good tagging and all that rot... it's not gonna work much at all. So I'm not really sure what yawl want. If it's blocking pathing for screen plays, ya need to let 'em know it. That's really the only issue I've seen that could be addressed to help out a little.

Some of the FB ones are dicey too. But WR Screens are just terrible. TE screens too...though they always will be.

The short passing game timing issue was a big deal early in the season but faded?

The adjustment making WR screens come further inside was a fail. I like the idea of getting the WR behind the blockers but it needs work.

I think that's about it, I wouldn't expect too many changes this offseason. Oh and patch up the logic on that bolick blitz

It didn't fade. People just stopped using those routes as opening progressions.

I think part of that is most OL dont have enough speed, and other part pathing issue

OT fails check on SS = He sticks with the DE and they double the RDE and NT, SS goes free

The current logic when oline reads all the blitzers
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2209368&pbp_id=8951799
RT comes inside to pick up SS
RG sticks with the NT
C comes across the formation to pick up the speed DE

The TE screen is horrible and doesn't even look realistic

You build faster O line and they just end up downfield on screens and nobody gets blocked. That's speaking from experience.

Mike is using an oline of 90 speed on the test server in some games so that is definitely not the problem.

And it doesn't matter what the blocking does if the WR runs right into the line.
